Got questions about your visit, our services, or what to expect? This page has the quick answers you need to feel fully prepared.

General Dentistry
Are digital X-rays safe?
Yes. Digital X-rays use up to 90% less radiation than traditional X-rays. They’re fast, safe, and help us diagnose accurately and early.
How often do I really need dental checkups?
Most people benefit from visits every six months. If you’re managing specific issues like gum disease or frequent decay, we may recommend visits every 3–4 months.
At what age should my child have their first dental checkup?
We recommend the first visit by age two. Early visits help us monitor development and get your child comfortable with dental care.
What is DIAGNOdent and why do you use it?
DIAGNOdent is a painless laser cavity detection tool. It finds signs of decay early, helping us treat issues before they grow into more serious problems.
What does the $1/day membership plan include?
Our in-house membership includes two cleanings, two exams, full mouth X-rays, fluoride treatments, and emergency exams with X-rays each year—plus 20% off all other treatments. It’s an affordable option for patients without insurance.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept cards, checks, and monthly payment plans. Our $1/day membership is also a great option.
What should I expect during my first visit?
A warm welcome, digital X-rays, a cleaning, and a clear explanation of your oral health and treatment options.
Do I need to go elsewhere for specialized treatments?
Nope! We offer everything from implants to extractions right here.
Do you offer evening appointments?
Yes. We’re open until 8 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Invisalign
How long does Invisalign take?
Most cases take 6–18 months, depending on your starting point. We’ll give you a clear timeline during your consultation—and help you stay on track with progress check-ins.
Can I start Invisalign today?
Often, yes! We build same-day consultations into our schedule. Call us to check availability—we’ll get you in as soon as possible.
What happens after treatment?
You'll wear a retainer to keep your new smile in place. We'll provide one and tell you exactly how and when to wear it.
Will insurance cover Invisalign?
Many plans cover part of Invisalign treatment. We work with Delta, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, BCBS, and others—and we’ll check your benefits for you.
Can teens use Invisalign?
Yes! Invisalign Teen is designed for younger patients and includes wear indicators to track use. It's a great option for responsible teens who want a low-profile treatment.
Am I a candidate?
Most teens and adults with mild to moderate crowding, gaps, or bite problems are great candidates. Book a consultation to find out—it's quick and pressure-free.
How do I take care of the aligners?
Rinse them regularly and clean them with a soft brush and soap. Don’t use hot water, and always brush before putting them back in. We'll give you full care instructions.
Is Invisalign better than braces?
For many people, yes. Invisalign is more comfortable, more discreet, and easier to maintain. But if your case is complex, we’ll talk you through all your options to find the best solution.
Can I book evening appointments?
Yes. We offer evening appointments until 8 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays to fit your schedule.
How much does Invisalign cost?
Costs vary depending on your treatment needs. Most patients pay between $3,000–$6,500. We’ll give you a personalized estimate during your consultation and offer payment plans that work with your budget. Members of our $1/day plan also receive 20% off.
Dental Implants
How much do dental implants cost in Souderton, PA?
Costs vary based on your needs. A single implant typically ranges from $3,000–$5,000. Our $3,500 package includes extraction, bone grafting, implant, and crown. During your consultation, we’ll provide a personalized quote and review payment options.
What if I was told I’m not a candidate?
We hear this often. Our use of 3D imaging and advanced surgical techniques allows us to treat many patients who were turned away elsewhere. Schedule a free consultation and we’ll re-evaluate your case.
How long do implants last?
Implants can last a lifetime. The crown or bridge on top may need replacement after 10–15 years, but the implant itself is extremely durable. Good hygiene and regular checkups are key.
Am I too old for implants?
There’s no age limit for implant treatment. As long as you're in good health and have adequate bone—or are willing to undergo bone grafting—you may qualify. Many of our implant patients are 60+.
Are dental implants painful?
Not at all. We offer our minimally invasive techniques mean most patients experience only mild soreness afterward—often managed with OTC medication.
Do I need to go to a specialist?
Nope. Everything happens here—surgery, imaging, and restoration. One location. One team. Start to finish.

Cosmetic Dentistry
What’s the difference between bonding and veneers?
Bonding is ideal for small fixes and is more budget-friendly. Veneers offer a longer-lasting, more dramatic transformation. We’ll help you decide based on your goals and timeline.
How long will my results last?
With good care:
- Veneers last 10–15 years
- Implants can last a lifetime
- Whitening lasts 1–3 years
- Bonding may need touch-ups in 5–10 years
Can I get cosmetic treatment if I’m nervous about the dentist?
Absolutely. Many of our patients feel the same way at first. We’ll take the time to explain everything, move at your pace, and help you feel relaxed and in control throughout your visit.
Do you offer evening appointments for cosmetic consultations?
Yes—we’re open until 8 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays. You can book consultations and follow-ups during evening hours to fit your schedule.
Will it hurt?
Most procedures are painless. We use local anesthesia when needed. Our team is known for being gentle, patient, and clear every step of the way.
Will my cosmetic dental work look natural?
Yes. We design everything to match your features, tooth shade, and proportions. Our goal is to enhance what’s already there, not make you look like someone else.
How long do cosmetic treatments take?
Some treatments, like bonding or whitening, take one visit. Veneers often take two. Clear aligners typically take 6–18 months, depending on your needs. We’ll give you a realistic timeline at your consultation.
Does dental insurance cover cosmetic procedures?
Most cosmetic procedures aren’t covered by insurance, but some—like crowns or implant restorations—might be partially covered if they restore function. Our team will verify your benefits and explain exactly what’s included before treatment begins.
How much does cosmetic dentistry cost?
It depends on the treatment. Whitening starts at a few hundred dollars, while veneers and implants are more of an investment. We’ll give you clear estimates and review all your options—including monthly payment plans and our $1/day membership, which gives you 20% off cosmetic procedures.
Veneers
How long do veneers last?
With proper care, porcelain veneers can last 10–15 years or more. Composite veneers typically last 5–7 years. Regular checkups, good oral hygiene, and avoiding habits like nail-biting help maximize longevity.
Will my veneers look natural?
Yes. Our veneers are custom-designed to match your features and reflect light just like real enamel. They’re individually crafted for your smile—no bulky, cookie-cutter results.
Do veneers damage natural teeth?
Only a minimal amount of enamel is removed to ensure a perfect fit. The process is conservative, and veneers actually strengthen and protect your teeth. For those seeking an even gentler option, no-prep veneers require little to no enamel removal.
How long does the process take?
Most patients complete treatment within two to three weeks over two or three visits—consultation, preparation, and final placement.
What’s the difference between porcelain and composite veneers?
Porcelain veneers are custom-crafted from high-strength ceramic that mimics the look and translucency of natural enamel and resists stains. Composite veneers are made from a tooth-colored resin and can often be completed in one visit but are less durable and more prone to staining.
How much do veneers cost?
Pricing depends on the material and the number of veneers. Composite is typically more affordable and can be completed faster, while porcelain offers superior strength and a more natural appearance. We provide clear cost estimates and flexible monthly payment plans. Our $1/day membership plan includes 20% off cosmetic treatments.
Teeth Whitening
How much does it cost?
We’ll provide a clear cost estimate during your consultation. Our $1/day membership plan includes 20% off whitening, and we offer monthly payment plans to help make treatment affordable.
Will whitening work on crowns or veneers?
Whitening treatments only affect natural enamel—not dental restorations. If you have crowns or veneers in visible areas, we may recommend whitening first and replacing restorations to match later.
Is professional whitening safe?
Yes. Our whitening treatments are carefully selected for safety and monitored by trained professionals. We also evaluate your oral health before starting to make sure whitening is right for you.
What’s the difference between Zoom! and Opalescence?
Zoom! is in-office and provides same-day results using LED-activated gel. Opalescence is available in-office or as a take-home kit, offering flexibility and gradual results. We’ll help you choose based on your goals and sensitivity level.
How long does teeth whitening last?
Results typically last 1–3 years, depending on your habits. Good brushing, flossing, and avoiding staining foods and drinks can help maintain your results. We offer touch-up kits for long-term care.
Emergency Dentistry
Can you remove wisdom teeth in an emergency?
Yes. Dr. Bhalodia has advanced training in surgical extractions and performs wisdom tooth removal right in our office. If you're in pain or swollen, call us.
Do you offer sedation for emergency procedures?
Absolutely. We offer oral, IV, and general sedation to keep you comfortable—even for complex procedures. Our team is trained to handle emergencies calmly and compassionately.
What should I do if I knock out a tooth?
Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and try placing it back in the socket. If that’s not possible, keep it moist in milk or saliva and call us immediately. Fast care increases the chance of saving the tooth.
Will insurance cover emergency treatment?
We accept most major dental plans and work with your insurer to maximize coverage. Before starting treatment, we’ll go over your benefits and any expected costs.
What if I don’t have insurance?
We offer affordable payment options, including flexible monthly plans and a $1/day membership that covers emergency exams and X-rays. Don’t let cost stop you from getting relief.
What are your emergency hours?
We’re open Monday–Tuesday until 8PM and Wednesday–Thursday 8AM – 5PM. If you call during business hours, we’ll do our best to see you the same day.
Can I be seen today?
Yes. We offer same-day emergency dental care with dedicated slots held daily. Call us as soon as possible so we can get you scheduled.
What qualifies as a dental emergency?
Any issue causing severe pain, bleeding, or risk of permanent damage is considered an emergency. This includes knocked-out teeth, severe infections, broken restorations, and injuries to the mouth or jaw.
